The very first matcha from the Furukawa family’s newly planted organic Ujihikari tea garden, gently shaded for thirty-two days and harvested exclusively by hand on May 3rd 2023.
The young spring leaves are still light-bodied yet offer characteristically creamy and ocean-like impressions that, almost like waves, ebb and flow in the most delicate rhythms on the palate.

Shade: covered 32 days before harvest

Fertilising: Rape seed oil cake, fish cake (tuna and bonito)
