Tsukigase Kōcha Benihikari | Natural farming | 2024

月ヶ瀬 紅茶 べにひかり

Spring-harvested wakōcha black tea from a single garden of Benihikari tea trees, gently wilted in the shade of the nearby forest and meticulously processed to preserve the entire Benihikari leaf.
The gently oxidized spring leaves slowly unfold while brewing an exceptionally aromatic and elegant Japanese black tea, produced each year in highly limited quantities.
Grown by natural farming methods without any use of pesticides or fertilizers by Fumiaki Iwata at Tsukigase Kenkō Chaen in Tsukigase, Nara.
