Kamo Kabusecha | Natural farming | 2025

加茂 冠茶

Tokuya Yamazaki’s kabusecha offers a rare natural example of Japanese shade-grown tea in classic Kyoto style.
A rich – but always refined – umami is complemented by refreshing sensations of spring that slowly unfold as the carefully processed, pine-needle-like leaves gradually open.
Grown by natural farming methods without any use of fertilising or pesticides, and harvested after 15 days of kanreisha shading from a single garden of the elegant Kyoto cultivar, Gokō.
