Our hōjicha powder from Asuka Nuruki offers a pleasantly creamy and dark-roasted alternative to matcha – with a naturally low caffeine content.
The finely textured powder is easily whisked into a foamy, fragrant tea, particularly well-suited for a delicious hōjicha latte – rich in warm, roasted nut-like notes with refreshing hints of autumn fruit and a soft sweetness reminiscent of cocoa.
Grown by organic farming methods and freshly milled by Nuruki-san herself and her small team in Chiran, Kagoshima.
