Ryōgōchi Sencha Shizu-7132 | Organic | 2026

両河内 煎茶 静7132

Unshaded medium-steamed sencha from Mr and Mrs Iwasaki’s family tea gardens, grown by organic farming methods on a pristine forest-covered mountainside deep in Ryōgōchi, Shizuoka.
A rich, buttery mouthfeel is complemented by fresh notes of lush mountain greenery alongside a pleasant sense of astringency that brings depth to the tea, reflecting the unshaded nature of its leaves.
Gradually, a warm and sweet aftertaste emerges, accompanied by a subtle, but characteristic sakura mochi-like note for which the Shizu-7132 cultivar is particularly known – echoing the vivid fragrance of the finely rolled, needle-like leaves.
