Chiran Farmer’s Sencha is a comforting and wholesome green spring tea crafted in a rustic farmer-style.
A well-balanced umami structure reflects the celebrated qualities of the entire Yabukita leaf while also bearing witness to its cultivation in shade for seven days leading up to the spring harvest in April.
Finished as a medium-steamed and unsorted ‘raw tea’ (aracha) with a moderate hi-ire firing, imparting a gentle nut-like sweetness and a pleasantly warming body sensation.

Altitude: 150-200 masl

Shade: direct covering for 7 days before harvest

Fertilising: homemade fermented organic fertiliser made from leftover products from local agriculture and fishing industry
