Natural Japanese incense created for the month of May, balancing two varieties of sandalwood with the deep sweetness of fine Vietnamese agarwood in an highly sophisticated and noble expression – not unlike the Heian court lady, Ayame Gozen, after whom the incense is named.

Part of Kogadō’s okolife series which reinterprets the fragrances of the changing seasons based on classical Japanese incense traditions and pure, natural raw materials of the finest quality.
