In this workshop, we will explore Japan’s most popular – and most diverse – form of green tea: sencha.
Participants will be introduced to the distinct characteristics and brewing methods of sencha, and together we will be tasting a selection of sencha from different regions in Japan.
A freshly made wagashi from Kappo Andō will be served during the workshop.

studio x kitchen x io – a residency | February 21st – March 9th

In collaboration with studio x kitchen, io is doing a three-week residency at studio x kitchen at Dronningens Tværgade 52 1302 København K.

During the three weeks, we organize a series of workshops where we in small groups gather and taste, practice and talk about Japanese tea and tea culture.

The workshops are divided into three themes, and they take place on the following days:

Introduction To Japanese Tea

Matcha Workshop

– Wednesday February 28th 15:30-16:30

– Thursday February 29th 15:30-16:30

Sencha Workshop

– Monday March 4th 15:30-16:30

– Wednesday March 6th 15:30-16:30

– Saturday March 9th 15:30-16:30
