Kamo Kabusecha | Natural farming | 2024

加茂 冠茶

Naturally farmed kabusecha by Tokuya Yamazaki in Kamo, Kyoto, from a single garden of the classic Kyoto cultivar, Gokō.
An elegantly processed shaded tea with a rich, but always refined umami, complemented here by the Gokō cultivar’s characteristically sweet and fragrant berry-like notes.
Harvested on May 9th 2024 after 14 days of direct kanreisha covering and then carefully processed into dark and glossy pine needle-like leaves that slowly unfold across subsequent infusions.
