Tea coaster in linen hand-dyed with tea leaves from io using the traditional Japanese dyeing technique shibori.

The shibori technique results in unique patterns and shades of colour on each individual coaster, and their size makes them suitable as a soft base for both teacups and Japanese kyūsu teapots.

Fully handmade by textile designer Mikako Kuno in Silkeborg, Denmark.
