Organic sencha powder from Asuka Nuruki in Chiran, Kagoshima, ball-milled exclusively from shade-grown, spring-harvested Saemidori leaves.
When prepared, the fine powder reveals a deep-green hue, nearly identical to that of matcha – a testament to the tea’s exceptionally high quality.
Its flavour profile is pure and simple, centering on clean vegetal notes complemented by a light, nut-like sweetness as well as a pleasant sense of astringency that reflects the original sencha nature of the leaves – especially recommended as an alternative to matcha in latte and culinary recipes.
