Very slowly. In return, they shoot tea leaves that are intimately shaped by the very soil from which they grow and through which they receive nutrition single-handedly.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s Tsukigase Sencha from Tsukigase Kenk\u014d Chaen&#8217;s naturally farmed tea gardens thus offers a unique study in terroir.
