The slightly wide and therefore robust tines of the <em>Shin Kazuho<\/em> Matcha whisks provide a high degree of durability and flexibility, making them suitable for whisking both thin (<em>usucha<\/em>) and thick (<em>koicha<\/em>) tea. At the same time, the slim and perfectly measured lower part of the whisk ensures a well-balanced and comfortable grip. The bright bamboo is grown locally in Nara and slowly dried in Takayama for up to three years before being put to use \u2013 a 100% natural process ensuring the uncompromising quality and longevity of Chikumeid\u014d\u2019s matcha whisks. Comes in a cardboard box decorated with Japanese <em>washi<\/em> paper.<\/p>\n<p>Chikumeid\u014d is a traditional family-run bamboo workshop that has been creating bamboo utensils for the Japanese tea ceremony for more than 500 years.
