山添 煎茶

A wonderfully fragrant and berry-sweet spring sencha grown by natural farming methods by Mr and Mrs Kayashita in Yamazoe, Nara.
The young Yabukita leaves were harvested on an early evening in May and then allowed to lightly wilt indoor until the next morning where they were processed into sencha.
The gentle oxidation from this ichō step uncovers distinct floral notes that, combined with the natural sweetness and clean mountain minerality inherent in the leaves, offer a fine expression of the Kayashita family’s original – and always highly meticulous – approach to growing and processing tea.
