Our finest matcha offering from Chiran in Kagoshima with a pure expression of the Okumidori cultivar, delicately balancing natural sensations of oceanic umami with a warm and velvety sweet note.
Harvested during spring harvest in May 2024 and freshly stone-milled by Asuka Nuruki herself and her small team in Chiran, Kagoshima.

Altitude: 150-200 masl

Shade: covered for 22 days before harvest

Fertiliser: homemade, fermented organic fertiliser made of by-products from the local fishing industry and agriculture

Steaming: medium (chūmushi)

Maturation: matured as tencha until May 20th 2025, then carefully milled to matcha on granite stone-mills
