One of our most popular teas, and for good reasons: Chiran Farmer’s Sencha is a refreshing and wholesome farmer-style green tea with a warm nut-like sweetness and well-balanced umami structure reflecting the robust qualities of the entire Yabukita leaf.
Harvested in April 2023 after seven days of direct shade and finished as a medium-steamed non-sorted aracha with a moderate hi-ire firing.

Cultivar: Yabukita

Age: 20-45 years

Altitude: 150-200 masl

Shade: direct covering for 7 days before harvest

Fertilising: homemade fermented organic fertiliser made from leftover products from local agriculture and fishing industry

Harvest: April 17th-20th 2023
